At the Heart Tree, our goal is to assist Spanish speaking foster, adoptive and kinship families with the barriers they experience in the foster and adoption areas. 

We registered this organization to help families with the gaps in service. We provide tools and activities so that these parents can care for these special children and youth effectively.

En The Heart Tree, nuestra meta es ayudar a las familias de crianza, adoptiva y de parentesco de habla español con las barreras que afrontan en las áreas de crianza y adopción. 

Registramos esta organización con el fin de ayudar a las familias en las áreas donde hay huecos en servicio.   Proveemos herramientas y actividades a los padres para que cuiden a estos niños y jovenes especiales efectivamente.

The Heart Tree, in collaboration with The Village, is excited to announce a new grant that was recently awarded to us through the RI Office of Healthy Aging (RIOHA).  This grant would allow us to reach out to grandparents and other caregivers 55 years of age and older caring for a child(ren) under the age of 18 in communities throughout Rhode Island.  Our goal is to provide grandparents and older kinship caregivers (55+) with resources and information.  For information , visit RIVillage.org, or email admin@rivillage.org; for information in Spanish visit TheHeartTree.org.

Esta beca nos permitira conectarnos con los abuelos y otras personas mayores de 55 años que cuidan a niños de un pariente o amistad en comunidades de todo Rhode Island. Nuestro objetivo es brindar recursos e información a los abuelos y parientes mayores (55+) que los cuidan.
